VL Parker is an Ojibway-Celtic creative, whose art has helped her process generational trauma.  She’s found peace, holistic healing, and connection to her Creator, herself, and her ancestors through art.

Her practice combines Ojibway traditional ways of knowing with Christ-consciousness. She shares this with others in a community of healing as a professional artist, author and poet.

Parker has also had the pleasure of serving as a teacher, coach, and facilitator in many Christian ministries and in the education system over the years. She has worked in both the non-profit community and in the corporate world.  She now gets to use these skills in service to others through Sana Corda as she combines her passion in creating with the Creator and facilitating workshops and healing groups. She is utilising spiritually expressive art to help empower others to go within themselves and find the Creator. This process promotes holistic healing of the mind, body and soul in a journey of rediscovery and release of authenticity through the expressive arts and reflection.

Our Story

At Sana Corda, we are an eclectic team of professionals who are faith-aligned followers of Jesus. We are united by our deep respect for all people, believing that everyone is created in the image and likeness of our Creator.

We come from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, sharing a common passion of healing hearts from trauma within community. Our collective journey led us to come together to address the significant need for healing in the world.

With personal and generational experiences of spiritual trauma and abuse, our team is intimately informed by our own healing journeys. Our extensive backgrounds in ministry, community social services, and non-profit organizations grant us deep insights into trauma healing. Collectively, we offer over 75 years of experience in supporting others on their healing paths. While Sana Corda may be new, our dedication and experience are longstanding. We treasure the opportunity to equip and empower individuals to find healing within community through our workshops, groups, products, and services.
